Partnerships
Coastal Training Guide considers partnerships that are relevant to coastal recreation skills and useful to readers, with clear separation between paid placement and editorial coverage.
Possible collaborations
We consider clearly defined projects such as educational resources, topic-led collaborations, and partner placements that fit the site's coverage of preparation, navigation, shoreline awareness, paddling, or campcraft. A proposal should explain its purpose, audience, requested format, and any material or funding supplied.
Partner placements
Relevant partner links or placements may be considered across the site when they suit the surrounding subject and can be labelled plainly. Placement does not imply that Coastal Training Guide has tested, approved, or independently verified a product or service. We do not accept material that disguises advertising as editorial content.
Editorial boundaries
Partnerships do not buy control over independent editorial decisions or guarantee favourable coverage. Paid, supplied, or collaborative material is identified near the relevant content. We may decline proposals that make unsupported claims, misrepresent risk, or do not fit the publication's subject.
Starting a conversation
Use the Contact page to outline the proposed collaboration, the placement or format you have in mind, and any commercial relationship involved. A clear proposal makes it easier to assess whether the idea fits.
Confidence grows from knowing what to notice
Coastal skills are built from small decisions made before and during an outing. We explain those decisions in plain language, so you can plan within your experience and keep learning at your own pace.
